25 Aug LONG BASKET – TRANSPORTATION SOLUTION FOR OFFSHORE PROJECTS
In offshore projects, transporting oversized and long-length materials and equipment requires dedicated solutions to ensure lifting safety, cargo protection, and stability during transit.
Long Baskets are specifically designed to store, protect, and transport long items such as steel structures, pipelines, structural profiles, and mechanical equipment, while supporting safe lifting operations at offshore work sites.
Currently, ISS is fabricating Long Baskets for the Cuu Long offshore platform project in two specifications:
🔹 Long Basket 22FT: 6,700 × 1,500 × 1,500 mm | SWL: 8 tonnes
🔹 Long Basket 44FT: 13,400 × 1,500 × 1,500 mm | SWL: 10 tonnes
The products are designed in compliance with BS EN 12079 / DNV 2.7-1 standards, featuring a heavy-duty steel frame, protective mesh, and internal lashing systems to meet strict requirements for offshore lifting, transport, and handling.
